Natalie joins GMD as a Planning Consultant following the completion of a Master of Public Policy from the University of Auckland. With a bachelor’s degree in political science, a prior master’s in Development Studies, and a wealth of international experience, her strength lies in understanding the bigger picture, using systems level thinking to tackle complex policy challenges.

Natalie has a particular interest in environmental issues and climate change. Experience with Oxfam Aotearoa and the Public Policy Institute at the University of Auckland enables her to apply an economic lens and an understanding of issues of distributional equity to her work. At GMD Natalie is currently involved with supporting various projects including long term planning review and bylaw development for district councils.

With a background in performing arts, a passion for surfing, and an active practice of Pilates and Tai chi, Natalie strives for balance in all aspects of her work and life.
